Best primitive Rust servers

Primitive is a small set. Many servers on this list are empty, and most of the players are on a few. Europe accounts for about three fifths of the population and North America the rest, so check the region and your ping before joining. About half of the servers with enough wipe history only wipe at the monthly force wipe; the rest wipe weekly, irregularly or on a short map reset cycle. The Next wipe column gives a countdown, and a tilde (~) marks an estimate. Hover over it to see the basis. Group limits are mostly the default of 8, so a solo or trio tag is worth noting. Nearly all servers leave the gather rate unstated, which usually means 1x. A few list 3x. The map is often smaller than vanilla.

With a list this size, sort by Rank rather than Players. A server with players now may be empty tomorrow, and Rank reflects a steady population over the week. You can also sort by Last wipe or Name, and the search box matches words like "EU" or "solo". For filters covering region, group limit and wipe schedule across all Rust servers, open the full server directory. The monthly wipe date and its countdown are on the force wipe page.
